The global box office results for last week have been officially announced. With no strong contenders in sight, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (Spider-Man: Brand New Day) effortlessly secured its sixth consecutive week at the North American box office, pulling in $18 million. Its global cumulative box office has now climbed past $2.4 billion ($1.48 billion internationally, $917 million domestically), solidifying its position as the third highest-grossing film in cinematic history.
However, globally last week, "Brand New Day" was surprisingly overtaken by "The Odyssey," which reclaimed the top spot. "The Odyssey" earned $45.96 million worldwide last week, slightly edging out "Brand New Day's" $44.10 million.

Furthermore, in terms of global cumulative box office, "The Odyssey" has now reached $1.627 billion. It is poised to soon surpass "Jurassic World's" record of $1.67 billion and become Universal Pictures' highest-grossing film of all time.
Beyond "Brand New Day" and "The Odyssey," the live-action Looney Tunes animated film "Coyote vs. Acme" has also shown surprisingly positive box office performance. It opened with $15.91 million in its first week, and in its second week, it still managed to pull in $11.33 million, a drop of only about 29%. This suggests it has the potential for a long, steady run and significant cumulative earnings.
