As Marvel fans know, street-level heroes Iron Fist and Luke Cage are officially set to return next year in the third season of "Daredevil: Born Again," but Marvel Studios' plans for these characters extend far beyond that. Recent rumors suggest Marvel Studios is developing a new detective-style series, with multiple scooper outlets indicating that Iron Fist and Luke Cage are the most likely protagonists. They would form a duo, thereby introducing their comic book team-up, the "Heroes for Hire," into the cinematic universe.

Other new developments concerning MCU characters include Taskmaster. According to a report from well-known film journalist Daniel Richtman on his X platform subscriber feed, Marvel still intends for Taskmaster to appear again, though the specific form of their return remains uncertain. It's expected that Marvel will likely have another character inherit the Taskmaster mantle, especially since the original MCU version of Taskmaster was killed off in "Thunderbolts*."

Another character potentially making a return is Agatha Harkness. Prominent film scooper MyTimeToShineHello claims that Agatha will also appear in "Avengers: Secret Wars." This news may not be entirely surprising, as previous rumors suggested Agatha was being considered for "Secret Wars" to lead a new generation of heroes.
