Harry Potter Series Reveals More Season 2 Cast: New Actors for Moaning Myrtle, Colin Creevey & Arthur Weasley Confirmed

With production on the second season of HBO's "Harry Potter" series already underway, a new wave of casting was announced today. The latest additions are Molly Hewitt-Richards as Moaning Myrtle, Jasper Ambrose as Colin Creevey, and Rafe Spall as Arthur Weasley.

These actors join other previously announced new cast members for the second season, including Kit Harington as Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Gilderoy Lockhart, Bonnie Hill as Ginny Weasley, Billy Barratt as the young Lord Voldemort, Tom Riddle, and Lenny Rush as the house-elf Dobby. Season 2 will adapt the second novel in the original series, "Chamber of Secrets," and is expected to premiere during the Christmas season next year.

Regarding the rest of the series cast, the student roster features Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown.

The Hogwarts faculty includes Luke Thallon as Professor Quirinus Quirrell, Nick Frost as groundskeeper Rubeus Hagrid, Paapa Essiedu as Professor Severus Snape, Janet McTeer as Professor Minerva McGonagall, Paul Whitehouse as caretaker Argus Filch, and John Lithgow as Headmaster Albus Dumbledore.

Rounding out the cast are the parents, with Johnny Fleming as Lucius Malfoy, Bel Powley as Aunt Petunia Dursley, Daniel Rigby as Uncle Vernon Dursley, and Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley.
