The film boasts a strong ensemble cast, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Evans, Salma Hayek, Vincent Cassel, John Malkovich, Sam Richardson, and Swedish rapper Yung Lean. "Sacrifice" is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 16.
Official Synopsis: After their mother dies in a fire, Joan (Taylor-Joy) and her siblings, guided by a mysterious volcanic prophecy, become convinced they are destined to purify the Earth. Forming a radical group, they hijack a lavish charity gala, taking three seemingly unrelated hostages as sacrifices. These sacrifices include Mike Taylor (Evans), a movie star representing the hero; Ben Breken (Cassel), a ruthless billionaire embodying the villain; and Katie (Ambika Mod), an unlucky gala performer symbolizing the lover. As chaos descends with the night, an internal quest and an external adventure unfold, blurring the lines between performance and belief, redemption and sacrifice.
