The upcoming live-action "Street Fighter" film is pulling out all the stops, with AMC Theatres in the U.S. recently unveiling a movie-exclusive popcorn bucket. This unique collectible directly transforms "Guile's" most iconic golden "broom-head" hairstyle into a three-dimensional design. What's even more outrageous is that this popcorn bucket not only holds popcorn but can actually be worn on your head.
In the official promotional video, Cody Rhodes, who plays "Guile," personally donned the popcorn bucket, humorously stating, "It's ergonomic, and it's aerodynamic. Now, you can own it too." An accompanying actor then proceeded to eat popcorn directly from his head, fully demonstrating the "correct usage" of this unique merchandise.

Beyond AMC, Cinemark also simultaneously unveiled its own "Street Fighter" co-branded merchandise. However, Cinemark's design approach emphasizes the series' arcade origins, highlighting its classic coin-op machine aesthetic.
In recent years, movie-exclusive popcorn buckets have increasingly become a battleground for cinema marketing. From the sandworm for "Dune: Part Two" and "Deadpool & Wolverine" to Galactus for "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," major studios are constantly pushing the boundaries with increasingly extravagant designs.
Recently, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," "The Odyssey," and "Resident Evil" have also released distinctive designs. Now, "Street Fighter" is simply letting audiences take Guile's signature hairstyle home with them.
The live-action "Street Fighter" movie is scheduled to premiere on October 16, 2026.
