Chinese collectibles maker Hiya Toys is adding another Toho kaiju to its collector-friendly EXQUISITE BASIC line with a new articulated figure based on"Godzilla Singular Point (ゴジラ S.P )": the fearsome final form known as"Godzilla Ultima." Priced at $99.99, the figure is scheduled for release in Q4 2027.
Introduced in the 2021 anime series "Godzilla Singular Point,""Godzilla Ultima" was designed by animatorEiji Yamamori. Within the series, this ultimate life-form possesses the ability to evolve without limit. After progressing through its Aquatilis, Amphibia, and Terrestris forms, Godzilla reaches its final Ultima form in Tokyo—and could theoretically continue evolving beyond it. Its abilities include manipulating Red Dust to reshape entire ecosystems, anticipating attacks, and unleashing rings of light with its atomic breath. Godzilla itself is merely the three-dimensional projection of a higher-dimensional entity. Ancient records within the story also describe a similarly shaped giant monster known as"Gojira."
The"EXQUISITE BASIC Godzilla Ultima" figure stands approximately 6.7 inches tall and stretches an enormous 27.6 inches from snout to tail, giving it a seriously imposing shelf presence. The sculpt faithfully captures the creature’s distinctive anime design, from its rugged skin texture to the intricate layers of dorsal fins running down its back. Multiple points of articulation throughout the body allow for a wide range of convincing poses. While no rings of light or atomic breath effect parts are included, the articulated jaw opens to an exaggerated angle without requiring any replacement pieces. The figure also comes with an interchangeable pair of hands for alternate claw poses.
