Kaiyodo announced a new addition to its classic "Getter Robo" lineup on its official X account today, September 22. The company is bringing Shin Getter 1 OVA Ver. to the Amazing Yamaguchi action figure series under its Revoltech brand!
Featured in the classic 1998 OVA "Getter Robo Armageddon," Shin Getter 1 is a super robot developed by Professor Saotome to harness the power of Getter Rays to their absolute limit. Its formidable all-around combat capabilities include Getter Beam attacks fired from its head and abdomen, along with close-quarters weapons such as tomahawks, scythes, and spears. The Amazing Yamaguchi Getter 1 OVA Ver. from the same OVA was originally scheduled for release this month, though its launch has been slightly delayed. Now, Kaiyodo has revealed that Shin Getter 1 will also join Katsuhisa Yamaguchi's Amazing Yamaguchi series, making this rapidly expanding mecha lineup even more exciting!
