Japanese figure maker Kaiyodo announced on its official X account today, September 22, that Grendizer from the classic super robot anime "UFO Robot Grendizer" is joining the Amazing Yamaguchi series under the Revoltech Articulated Figure brand!
Premiering in 1975, "UFO Robot Grendizer" (UFOロボ グレンダイザー) was co-created by Go Nagai and Toei Animation as the third entry in the Mazinger series. The story follows alien prince Duke Fleed, who lives on Earth under the name Daisuke Umon and pilots the giant robot Grendizer against the Vega forces and their campaign to conquer the universe. Following the October 2025 release of Amazing Yamaguchi Mazinger Z, which earned rave reviews for its exceptional articulation and wealth of display options, Grendizer is now set to join Katsuhisa Yamaguchi's Amazing Yamaguchi lineup.
