Kotobukiya’s slice-of-life girlpla series Sousai Shojo Teien, created in collaboration with illustrator En Morikura, is crossing over with "Megalomaria Unlimited Universe" for its latest release. The new "ANIMAL EARS EMULATOR [Swim Style]" model kit is scheduled to launch in February 2027.
EMULATOR is one of the most popular ANOTHER characters in the Megalomaria Unlimited Universe lineup. While other ANOTHER designs feature distinctly inorganic bodies, EMULATOR can mimic the appearance of a TRIGGER, or human. Her armored body is covered in artificial skin, complete with facial features closely resembling those of a human character.
This crossover reimagines the eerie, puppet-like EMULATOR through the world of Sousai Shojo Teien, transforming her into the human-bodied "ANIMAL EARS EMULATOR". The kit reuses body parts from "Ritsuka Saeki [Swim Style]," giving her a beautifully proportioned bikini look. The parts come molded in summery pale blue, clear white, and the fair-toned Skin Color C, while the bikini ties and sandal straps are pre-painted.
Her adorable milk-tea-colored hair combines the shrine maiden-inspired low ponytail from "Kuon Yakushiji [TOUOU HIGH SCHOOL UNIFORM]" with the fox-eared bangs from "Arranged Wigs Animal Ears Messy Bun [Fox]." Three interchangeable expressions based on Kuon Yakushiji are included: a standard face, a winking fan-service face, and an open-mouth smile. Each features blue eyes inspired by EMULATOR, giving the character a softer and more elegant look than her original design.
The fully articulated body supports a wide range of poses, while the movable ribbon at the waist stays clear when the legs swing outward. Accessories include 13 styles of interchangeable PVC hands, a body part for seated poses, fixed legs with more natural-looking knees, and three pairs of bare feet with standard, curled, and upward-turned toes. Together, these options allow the kit to handle a wide variety of poses and display scenes.
