Kotobukiya and illustrator En Morikura’s slice-of-life girl-plamo series, "Sousai Shojo Teien," is teaming up with "Megalomaria Unlimited Universe" for its latest release: "ANIMAL EARS EMULATOR [Swim Style] DREAMING STYLE TWILIGHT CAT." The exclusive color variant is scheduled for release in March 2027 and will be available only through Kotobukiya Shops and other designated official retailers.
"EMULATOR" is one of the most popular ANOTHER characters in the "Megalomaria Unlimited Universe" lineup. While other ANOTHER units feature distinctly inorganic designs, EMULATOR can mimic the appearance of a TRIGGER—otherwise known as a human. Its armor is covered in artificial skin that closely resembles human flesh, while its facial features look remarkably human. This collaboration brings the character into the world of "Sousai Shojo Teien," transforming its uncanny, puppet-like form into the body of a human girl as the "ANIMAL EARS EMULATOR."
"ANIMAL EARS EMULATOR [Swim Style] DREAMING STYLE TWILIGHT CAT" is an alternate-color version of the standard kit inspired by the ocean at dusk. The body’s molded colors have been changed to a sunset-pink bikini, while the pareo uses glitter-infused clear red plastic to evoke evening sunlight shimmering across the water. Skin Color D gives her a healthy, sun-kissed tan after a full day at the beach, and the bikini ties and sandal straps come pre-painted.
The shimmering white long hair comes from "KUON YAKUSHIJI [MARIA KAGARIBI COSTUME]" and is paired with the cat-ear bangs included with "Arranged Wigs Animal Ears Bob [Cat]." Three interchangeable expressions from Kuon Yakushiji are included: a standard face, a winking fan-service face, and an open-mouth smile. Each features purple eyes, giving this version a graceful and adorable look that sets it apart from the original design.
The fully articulated body offers a flexible range of motion, while the waist ribbon is also articulated to prevent interference when moving the legs outward. The kit includes 13 types of PVC interchangeable hands, a separate body for seated poses, fixed leg parts with more natural-looking knees, and three styles of bare feet: standard, curled toes, and upward-stretched toes. Together, these options support a wide variety of poses and display scenes.
