Chinese figure maker BearPanda has secured an official license from khara to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Evangelion. Following its “Rei Ayanami School Uniform TV Ver.,” the company has unveiled the next release in the series: the “Asuka Langley Soryu Dress TV Ver.” 1/6 scale pre-painted figure. Priced at RMB 399, the figure is scheduled for release in May 2027.
Standing approximately 28.5 cm tall, this 1/6 scale Asuka figure recreates her dress ensemble from the original TV anime. She holds a sunflower while folding her arms and looking back over her shoulder, creating a lively, expressive pose. Intricate sculpting captures the fabric hugging her slender curves, while molded skin-tone parts give her complexion a smooth, delicate appearance.
Carefully sculpted folds give the dress’s skirt a breezy, windswept look. Subtle paintwork faithfully recreates the pale yellow dress and red high heels, completing the figure’s light and graceful presentation.
