Good Smile Company has revealed the painted prototype for POP UP PARADE Petite Speaki, an upcoming figure based on EPID Games' mobile game "Trickcal: Chibi Go." A release date has not yet been announced.
Petite Speaki originated from an image of Speaki, a Phantom Apostle who loves imitating others, lying face-down on the ground and crying. After players paired the image with Korean voice actress Park Shi-yoon's irresistibly catchy delivery, it quickly exploded into a viral online meme. In fan creations, Petite Speaki often appears as a mysterious creature separate from Speaki herself, making adorable noises such as "JO-A-YO" (좋아요). The meme soon made its way back into the game, inspiring the Legendary Pet Petite Speaki and a wide range of merchandise. She even replaced Kommy as the franchise's newest official mascot.
POP UP PARADE Petite Speaki faithfully recreates the character's in-game artwork, capturing her sprawled-out crying pose in three dimensions. Its distinctive proportions make her plump cheeks look especially prominent from certain angles, while the colorful paintwork recreates her nun-inspired outfit modeled after Head Priestess Ner.
