Japanese model kit manufacturer Kotobukiya has unveiled a new pre-painted figure based on its "Frame Arms Girl" series: "Kagutsuchi-Kou". Priced at 22,000 yen including tax, the figure is scheduled for release in April 2027!
"Type 48 Model 1 Kagutsuchi-Kou" is a heavily armored Frame Arms unit designed by mechanical designer Wataru Inata. Its blocky, angular construction provides exceptional defensive capabilities, while wheels mounted on its lower legs compensate for its limited mobility. Illustrator Doyou reimagined Kagutsuchi’s bulky proportions as a voluptuous young woman, creating the curviest, most full-figured body ever seen in the Frame Arms Girl series!
The non-scale "Kagutsuchi-Kou" figure stands approximately 17.8 centimeters tall and faithfully captures the character’s dramatically voluptuous physique. Like several previous releases in the series, she appears in a defeated, partially disarmed state—but the amount of clothing involved makes this rendition fundamentally different. Previous figures with the same theme, including "Durga I" and "Magatsuki", already showed plenty of bare skin, leaving little more than their stockings to receive minor battle damage. Kagutsuchi-Kou, however, is covered almost entirely in a skintight bodysuit, allowing for far more extensive tearing. The damage exposes not only her stockings, but also her back, waist, arms, breasts, and even her toes! Sculptor Kurosawatsu (Acxyz Creativ) masterfully recreates the way the tight fabric digs into her full figure, complete with realistic folds and tension across the elastic material. It is the perfect demonstration of how covering up can sometimes look even sexier than showing everything!
Her already exposed, massive bust and fleshy hips and thighs receive just as much attention, fully showcasing the appeal of her lush proportions. A subtle translucent paint effect gives the stockings a convincing sheer finish and adds another layer of depth. Combined with Kagutsuchi-Kou’s bashful, bewildered expression, the result is an alluringly coy presentation. Although the figure features relatively few armor components, each piece is carefully finished with detailed gradients and shading. Interchangeable chest parts also let collectors display her either without the chest armor or with it nestled between her breasts!
