David O. Russell, the director behind "American Hustle" and "The Fighter," is returning with "Madden," which arrives on streaming in less than two months. The movie’s full trailer and new key art have now been unveiled. Nearly a year has passed since the film’s first teaser debuted during last year’s Christmas season. Amazon MGM Studios initially had broader theatrical ambitions for the project, but it will now receive a limited theatrical release before making its global streaming debut.

Inspired by the life of legendary football coach John Madden, "Madden" centers on his enduring friendship with fellow coaching icon Al Davis while tracing his remarkable journey from player and coach to celebrated sports broadcaster. Davis owned the Oakland Raiders for 39 years. He hired Madden as the team’s linebackers coach in 1967 before promoting him to head coach in 1969.

The cast features Nicolas Cage as Madden and Christian Bale as Davis, with Kathryn Hahn playing Madden’s wife and Sienna Miller portraying Davis’ wife. John Mulaney co-stars as Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins, who helped launch the blockbuster football simulation franchise bearing Madden’s name, "Madden NFL." The film opens in select theaters November 11 before streaming globally on Prime Video November 18.
