Johnny Depp is making a concerted return to major Hollywood productions. This November, he will star in "Ebenezer", a new feature adaptation of "A Christmas Carol." That will be followed next March by the mystery thriller "Day Drinker," which has now unveiled its first trailer and teaser poster.
"Day Drinker" is directed by "The Amazing Spider-Man" filmmaker Marc Webb from a screenplay by "The Tomorrow War" writer Zach Dean. The story follows a private-yacht bartender who crosses paths with a mysterious daytime guest, only for the pair to become entangled in a dark criminal conspiracy. The film is set to hit U.S. theaters on March 26, 2027.

"Outer Banks" breakout Madelyn Cline stars as the bartender, while Depp plays the enigmatic guest. Details about Penélope Cruz's role remain under wraps. "Day Drinker" marks the fourth collaboration between longtime friends Depp and Cruz, following "Blow," "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."
