Japanese figure maker Kaiyodo has officially unveiled the latest DC release in its popular Revoltech brand’s Amazing Yamaguchi series, overseen by renowned sculptor Katsuhisa Yamaguchi: the Peacemaker action figure. Priced at 11,000 yen, the figure is scheduled for release in May 2027.
DC antihero Peacemaker, whose real name is Christopher Smith, is an extreme patriot with a dangerously warped vision of peace—and he will use any amount of violence to achieve it. The character made his live-action debut in the 2021 film "The Suicide Squad" before starring in his own series in 2022.
Standing approximately 6.5 inches tall, the Amazing Yamaguchi Peacemaker appears to draw inspiration from actor John Cena’s facial features. Detailed sculpting captures the character’s signature mask, while the line’s muscular aesthetic emphasizes his powerful physique and defined arms. Matte paint recreates the costume’s iconic red, white, and blue color scheme, while the helmet receives a metallic finish inspired by its comic-book appearance. Preorders placed through Kaiyodo’s directly operated stores will also include an additional helmet accessory, giving collectors even more display options.
The accessory lineup includes roaring and smiling interchangeable face plates, five pairs of interchangeable hands, an assault rifle, two submachine guns, a silver long-barreled handgun with a stock, an axe bearing the dove of peace emblem, and muzzle-flash effects. Combined with the figure’s highly expressive Yamaguchi-style articulation, the arsenal supports a wide range of dynamic and entertaining poses.
