Back in June, Sydney Sweeney signed on to star in "Hollow," a new reimagining of "Sleepy Hollow" from "Pet Sematary: Bloodlines" director Lindsey Anderson Beer. Deadline now reports that Belmont Cameli (pictured below), who recently broke out on the Prime Video series "Off Campus," has also joined the cast.

Sweeney will play heroine Katrina Van Tassel, while Cameli is set to portray her husband, Brom Bones. The other male lead, Ichabod Crane, has yet to be cast. In a fitting coincidence, another upcoming Sweeney project — "The Housemaid" sequel "The Housemaid's Secret" — also features Cameli’s "Off Campus" co-star Stephen Kalyn (pictured below), giving Sweeney back-to-back projects opposite the show’s two breakout leading men.

When "Hollow" was first set up four years ago, it was intended solely as a feature film. Beer has since changed course, adapting the screenplay into a novel that will mark her literary debut when it is published in fall 2027, with the movie set to follow. Unlike previous adaptations, "Hollow" will shift the story’s perspective away from Ichabod and place Katrina at its center. The project will also bring a contemporary approach to the material, leaning further into psychological mystery and erotic-thriller elements.
