BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS collectibles division has announced that a new preassembled collectible project based on the official spin-off "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM MSV" is now in development. A release date has yet to be announced.
The official spin-off "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM MSV" marks the return of the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series’ MSV line after roughly 20 years, following projects such as "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED MSV," which began serialization in 2003, and "SEED DESTINY MSV Senki." The new series will launch in the December 2026 issue of Monthly Hobby Japan, scheduled to go on sale October 23, 2026.
The series will tie into the theatrical projects "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" and "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO." Mechanical designer Kunio Okawara will create all-new special-spec variants of mobile suits appearing in the story, while Shigeru Morita, who worked on the scripts for both films, will develop their technical profiles and backstories. HOBBY JAPAN’s roster of professional modelers will also produce custom Gunpla builds based on the new designs.

Its head design resembles mass-production units such as the Murasame and various GAT-series machines, while its body appears to share the Rising Freedom Gundam’s design. This may be a mass-production version of the Rising Freedom Gundam.
