BANDAI SPIRITS has announced the latest Gundam entry in its hugely popular prize lottery brand, Ichiban Kuji. "Gundam G・W・X 30th Anniversary" is scheduled to launch on February 26, 2027.
Airing between 1994 and 1996, the three shows commonly known as the "Heisei Gundam Trilogy" broke away from the Universal Century setting of the franchise's first four TV series and brought Gundam to a much wider audience. Mobile Fighter G Gundam combined Hong Kong martial arts cinema with a globe-spanning fighting tournament, while Mobile Suit Gundam Wing introduced five handsome young Gundam pilots and explored war and peace through an entirely new universe. After War Gundam X followed a boy and girl searching for hope as they journeyed across a devastated world. Each series featured a different director, along with its own distinct mobile suit and character designs, helping establish the creative range that continues to define the Gundam franchise.
"Ichiban Kuji Gundam G・W・X 30th Anniversary" celebrates the three classic anime series with figures and collectibles inspired by their mobile suits and characters. The first prizes revealed include the A Prize BUSTISAN Gundam Double X Bust, B Prize MASTERLISE Tiffa Adill Figure, E Prize MS Head Magnets, and Last One Prize BUSTISAN Gundam Double X Bust Twin Satellite Cannon Ver.
