Kotobukiya has announced the latest addition to its popular Megami Device model kit series, "PUNI☆MOFU LIN," scheduled for release in March 2027.
The sixth entry in the PUNI☆MOFU series, Lin, features character design by Japanese illustrator BLADE. Built on the same petite Machineca Block2-S body used by her sister unit, Long, Lin combines armor and styling inspired by the legendary qilin. This close-range combat unit specializes in high-speed ground mobility. Her Kintorin roller skates let her race freely across the battlefield, while the Seirintou weapon system can be reconfigured into tonfa and axe forms. Combined with Kintorin’s extreme speed, these weapons deliver destructive power far beyond their listed specs. The blades can even transform into a rideable configuration for gliding through the air.
"Megami Device PUNI☆MOFU LIN" modifies the body design originally developed for Long. Newly molded white, orange, green, and other colored parts recreate Lin’s cute, vibrant color scheme, while extensive new tooling brings her distinctive details to life. These include long and short versions of her auspicious cloud-inspired twintails, a translucent blue qilin horn, and a qilin-shaped AI unit attached to a Chinese knot ornament. Three pre-painted face parts capture Lin’s energetic personality. With most of the armor removed in Unarmed Mode, the highly articulated Machineca Block2-S body can strike a wide range of adorable poses.
The Kintorin roller skates beneath her feet and the massive Seirintou blades are also made with newly tooled parts. Translucent blue plastic gives the blades and wheels an energy-charged appearance, while the weapons’ separation gimmick supports Seirintou-Blitz, Seirintou-Bolt, tonfa, axe, and rideable aerial configurations. Together, they let collectors recreate Lin’s ground mobility-focused, high-speed combat style.
