BANDAI Gashapon Detective Conan Role-Play Collection Capsule Toys Feature Talking Voice-Changing Bowties

BANDAI’s Gashapon division has revealed a new Capsule Toys lineup inspired by the classic anime series "Detective Conan." The "Detective Conan Role-Play Collection" is priced at 500 yen per play and is scheduled to launch during the third week of October 2026.

The "Detective Conan Role-Play Collection" turns four of Conan Edogawa’s signature gadgets into collectibles: a Kogoro Mouri Ver. Voice-Changing Bowtie, a Sonoko Suzuki Ver. Voice-Changing Bowtie, a Detective Boys Badge metal pin, and a Stun-Gun Wristwatch. Each item features its own clever details or interactive gimmicks. The metal pin faithfully recreates the badge’s mechanical components on the back, while the Stun-Gun Wristwatch lets you raise the cover and press the side button to re-create Conan’s classic routine of putting Kogoro to sleep—even though it does not actually tell time. The two Voice-Changing Bowties each play a deduction in the corresponding character’s voice. Kogoro’s version includes the line, "I’ve figured it out. The culprit’s true identity... is you!" Sonoko’s version says, "If you still don’t understand, then allow me to explain..." Simply press the button to stage your own dramatic deduction scene. Each bowtie also features a stylized illustration of its respective character in the lower-left corner. Detective Conan fans won’t want to miss this set!
