Marvel Comics has announced a new line of "X-Men: Incursions" one-shots exploring untold stories from the multiversal collisions that paved the way for "Secret Wars." The biggest draw for fans is a long-awaited clash between the iconic ’90s animated incarnation of the X-Men and the team from the 2000 series "X-Men: Evolution."
"X-Men '92: Incursions" #1 will hit shelves on January 6, 2027. Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost are co-writing the issue, with Salva Espin handling the artwork. The story finds the X-Men ’92 team facing the destruction of their world—and their only chance of survival may be to wipe out another universe.
Making matters worse, that other reality is the world of "X-Men: Evolution," populated by younger versions of the heroes who still believe in Professor X and Charles Xavier’s dream. Marvel’s official synopsis poses the ultimate dilemma: “The X-Men of the ’90s must save their world! But can they do so when it means destroying another world in the process?”

The "Incursions" line will consist of five one-shots. Other stories pit the world of "House of M" against "Days of Future Past," bring Spider-Gwen face-to-face with Spider-Girl, and unleash a battle between a gamma-powered Fantastic Four and a cosmic-powered Hulk. Each chapter centers on the same impossible premise: Two universes collide, but only one can survive. Together, the stories will fill in crucial moments from the Multiverse’s collapse ahead of "Secret Wars."
