Robert Pattinson has kept his hot streak alive in 2026. Following "The Drama" with Zendaya and a role in "The Odyssey," his latest film, "Primetime," has sparked another wave of buzz.
Pattinson stars as Chris Hansen, host of the reality series "To Catch a Predator." The film depicts Hansen as a man who becomes increasingly consumed by his own sense of righteousness and the pursuit of ratings, eventually taking on an almost psychopathic edge.
Although Hansen recently called the film an insult and criticized it for being overly dramatized, Pattinson’s performance has earned plenty of praise. It has even inspired some DC fans to float a bold idea: After playing Batman, why not take a shot at The Joker?
When Entertainment Weekly asked Pattinson about the fan casting, he laughed off the idea and said it was a great role, but that Barry Keoghan was the right man for it. Pattinson added that he loved filming their scene together, praised Keoghan as an outstanding actor and said he would much rather see him continue in the part.
Plot details for "The Batman: Part II" remain tightly under wraps, and Keoghan’s return has yet to be confirmed. The first film originally included an approximately five-minute scene in which Batman visited The Joker at Arkham and asked for his help analyzing The Riddler. The sequence was ultimately cut before being released online.
"The Batman: Part II" began filming in London in June 2026 and is currently scheduled to hit theaters on February 18, 2028.
