BANDAI’s GASHAPON brand is teaming up with toy artist TOUMA once again, this time bringing his signature oversized fists to the "Godzilla" franchise with the new "POWER KNUCKLE byTOUMA × GODZILLA" capsule toy series. The lineup features four monsters, priced at ¥1,000 per pull. Preorders open through GASHAPON ONLINE on September 30, 2026.
Those massive hands—nearly as big as the characters’ heads—have already seen two rounds of action with Kamen Rider. The previously released "POWER KNUCKLE byTOUMA × KAMEN RIDER" and "VOL. 2" collections reimagined Riders from across the franchise with rock-like fists, low-slung proportions, and TOUMA’s signature pop-and-cool style. Now that Toho’s monsters are stepping into the ring, the exaggerated bulk feels even more at home. When it comes to kaiju battles, fist size apparently does matter.
The lineup includes "Godzilla (1974)," "Mechagodzilla (1974)," "King Caesar (1974)," and "Gigan (1972)," with each figure standing approximately 3.7 inches tall. Every monster retains its most recognizable features, including dorsal fins, horns, scythe-like claws, and armored plating. Clear parts and metallic paint applications add extra visual impact, while rotating shoulders and arms let these four heavyweights do more than simply compare fists—they can also strike battle-ready poses. Online preorders are scheduled to ship in late December 2026, and BANDAI notes that the figures may appear earlier in capsule vending machines across Japan.
