Chinese premium statue maker Infinity Studio has unveiled its "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" Asuka Shikinami Langley 1/2 Scale Statue. Based on Asuka’s appearance in the latter part of the film, the piece recreates her torn red plugsuit, exposed skin, and flowing long hair at an enormous 1/2 scale. Standing nearly one meter tall, the statue is limited to 299 pieces and carries a suggested retail price of RMB 8,180, with a preorder price of RMB 7,480. Shipping is scheduled for Q2 2027.
This version of Asuka Shikinami Langley comes directly from "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." Rather than depicting her in the pristine red plugsuit fans know so well, the sculpt captures its heavily damaged appearance from the film. Large sections are torn away across the chest, midriff, thighs, and arms, breaking up the suit’s traditionally sleek design with jagged, irregular edges.
The 1/2 scale statue measures approximately 98 cm tall, enlarging everything from Asuka’s hair and facial features to her body proportions to near-lifesize dimensions. According to the official specifications, the piece combines platinum silicone, polystone, PU, and other materials, along with an LED lighting system. As with Infinity Studio’s other large-scale character statues, the contrast between the lifelike skin texture and the plugsuit’s synthetic finish should be one of the most striking details in person.
Asuka’s reddish-orange hair falls all the way to her waist, while one hand is raised beside her ear and the other rests naturally at her side. The relaxed stance avoids an exaggerated combat pose, allowing the shredded red plugsuit to command even more attention. A weighty, stone-like ruined base completes the display, making it feel as though Asuka has stepped straight out of the film and into the real world.
