Japanese figure maker Wonderful Works has unveiled its latest release from the hit anime film "Cosmic Princess Kaguya!": the "Kaguya: Collaboration Concert Ver." non-scale painted figure. Priced at 6,600 yen including tax, the figure is scheduled for release in April 2027!
Streaming exclusively on Netflix, the anime film "Cosmic Princess Kaguya!" generated plenty of buzz earlier this year with its covers of beloved Vocaloid classics and emotional story. The film follows Iroha Sakayori, a teenage girl living on her own while juggling school and part-time jobs. Her only escape is watching streams by popular virtual creator Yachiyo Runami. Just as Iroha nears her breaking point, she discovers a mysterious baby inside a utility pole near her home. The infant rapidly grows into a teenage girl who claims to come from the Moon. Iroha names her Kaguya, and the two gradually form a powerful bond across both the real world and the virtual realm of Tsukuyomi. Their new life is soon threatened, however, when mysterious forces from the Moon arrive to take Kaguya home.
The "Kaguya: Collaboration Concert Ver." non-scale painted figure stands approximately 6.7 inches tall. Alongside the concurrently released "Iroha Sakayori: Collaboration Concert Ver." and "Yachiyo Runami: Collaboration Concert Ver.", the figure is based on the collaboration concert awarded to the winners of the Yachiyo Cup. Each release captures one of the trio's split-second poses during their performance of "Ex-Otogibanashi." Despite its compact, display-friendly size and affordable price, the sculpt doesn't skimp on detail. Kaguya's bright, energetic personality shines through, while her outstretched arms and billowing skirt give the figure a lively sense of motion. Display all three figures together to recreate the movie's dynamic concert scene!
