BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS division has revealed the latest release in its S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou lineup: the Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto Rider Form 20th Anniversary Ver. action figure from "Kamen Rider Kabuto." Priced at 11,000 yen, the figure is scheduled for release in February 2027.
Dark Kabuto made his debut in Episode 39 of the TV series as a prototype of the Kabuto System. The Rider’s on-screen user is Soji Tendo (Mimic), who can access the same Masked Form and Rider Form as Kabuto. His abilities include the high-speed Clock Up technique, while his signature equipment consists of the Dark Kabuto Zecter and ZECT Kunai Gun.
Standing approximately 5.7 inches tall, the Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto Rider Form 20th Anniversary Ver. action figure largely reuses and recolors the Shinkocchou Seihou sculpt introduced with the 2017 release. The wrist connections have been upgraded with ball joints, working alongside the figure’s gap-free joint design to deliver smoother, more natural action poses.
The paintwork has also been updated with a fresh interpretation of the suit’s on-screen colors, while the chest pattern is recreated with vivid yet subdued tampo printing. Accessories include three interchangeable left hands, four interchangeable right hands, and the ZECT Kunai Gun in both Gun Mode and Kunai Mode. Exclusive to this 20th Anniversary Ver. is a light-piping head part that makes the compound eyes appear to glow when illuminated from behind. Collectors can also pair Dark Kabuto with the “Kamen Rider Kabuto Rider Form 20th Anniversary Ver.,” released this month, to recreate their dramatic showdown.
