TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan’s BANDAI SPIRITS, has revealed the fifth MARVEL GAMERVERSE release in its S.H.Figuarts CineToy TAMASHII lineup: the Venom (GAMERVERSE) action figure. Priced at 13,200 yen, the figure is scheduled for release in May 2027.
This S.H.Figuarts Venom (GAMERVERSE) figure appears to draw inspiration from the character’s classic blue appearance in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. The sculpt captures Venom’s heavily defined musculature, massive spider emblem, and the revolting green saliva dripping from his tongue. Standing approximately 7.1 inches tall, his oversized build gives him a far more intimidating presence than the other characters released in the line so far.
The articulation appears largely similar to the previously released Spider-Man, with butterfly joints at the shoulders, hips capable of a wide forward-and-back range, and an additional waist joint for deeper ab crunches. Accessories include three pairs of interchangeable hands, three interchangeable tongues, an alternate lower jaw, an alternate neck piece, an Eddie Brock head sculpt, a massive assortment of symbiote tendril effects, and a dedicated display stand. Although it has yet to appear in the official product photos, this release will also continue the line’s signature feature by including a special-move effect backdrop. Pair Venom with the previously released Cyclops, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Psylocke to recreate an explosive GAMERVERSE showdown.
Regional licensing restrictions may once again limit the availability of GAMERVERSE releases. Collectors interested in adding Venom to their shelves may need to seek out Japanese or other international preorder options.
