BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS collectibles division is expanding its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure line with a new release from the fan-favorite anime "Sgt. Frog": the "S.H.Figuarts Sergeant Keroro & Pekoponian Suit Set." Priced at 7,700 yen with tax included, the set is scheduled for release in February 2027.
"Sgt. Frog" follows Sergeant Keroro and his fellow invaders from Planet Keron. While scouting the Hinata residence, the group is easily captured by the Hinata siblings. Their invasion fleet then makes an emergency retreat from Earth after deciding the operation has been compromised, leaving its advance squad stranded on Pekopon. From there, Keroro and company begin their new lives under the Hinata family’s roof.
The "S.H.Figuarts Sergeant Keroro & Pekoponian Suit Set" includes the Sergeant Keroro figure and a Pekoponian disguise suit. Keroro comes with three interchangeable right arm parts, two left arm parts, one replacement leg part for each side, and a display stand. Unfortunately, he only includes one facial expression, and his Kero Ball weapon is not part of the set. The Pekoponian suit more than makes up for those omissions, however. It comes with four pairs of interchangeable hands, while attaching Keroro’s head recreates his human-proportioned Pekoponian disguise. Fully articulated joints allow for a wide range of goofy, laid-back poses, perfect for reenacting the "stupid frog’s" funniest moments from the series.
