BANDAI China has teased a new limited-edition release celebrating the upcoming Double 11 Shopping Festival. Preorders for the MGSD Freedom Gundam [Silver Radiance Color] will open through the official BANDAI Tmall Flagship Store at 8:00 p.m. on October 20!
The ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam is a next-generation mobile suit developed by P.L.A.N.T. using technology obtained from the four G Project units captured from the Atlantic Federation. Powered by a nuclear engine, the Freedom has a virtually unlimited energy supply and carries an N-Jammer Canceller that neutralizes the effects of N-Jammers. Its immense thrust allows it to break through the atmosphere under its own power and travel at high speeds over long distances in atmospheric flight. As a prototype packed with cutting-edge technology, the Freedom is also far more demanding to operate than other mobile suits of its era. In the hands of the Ultimate Coordinator, Kira Yamato, the machine’s full potential is unleashed!
Based on the currently available display photos, the MGSD Freedom Gundam [Silver Radiance Color] uses the standard kit as its foundation while replacing the original colors with a silver chrome and black palette for a sleek, understated premium finish. The displayed model also appears to omit caution-mark decals, giving it a cleaner overall look. We can’t wait to see more details when the kit receives its full reveal!
