Sony Pictures has announced release dates for several upcoming films. First up, the long-awaited third installment in the "21 Jump Street" franchise, "24 Jump Street," will hit theaters on December 10, 2027, with Channing Tatum, Ice Cube and Jonah Hill confirmed to return.
Also arriving in 2027 is a new adaptation of "Treasure Island" starring Hugh Jackman and directed by Ridley Scott. The film will open one month earlier on November 11, 2027.

Meanwhile, "Godzilla Minus One" director Takashi Yamazaki’s first original Hollywood Sci-Fi movie, "Grandgear," has moved up from February 18, 2028, to January 14, 2028. The film is reportedly centered on battles between giant mechs.
The live-action "Helldivers" movie has also shifted dates. Starring "Reacher" actor Alan Ritchson and directed by "The Fast Saga" filmmaker Justin Lin, the video game adaptation has been pushed from November 10, 2027, to June 9, 2028.
Among Sony’s other upcoming releases, the Michelle Yeoh-led crime thriller "The Surgeon," adapted from a novel, will open on April 2, 2027. "Narcs," a coming-of-age comedy written and directed by "Dirty Grandpa" screenwriter John Phillips, is set for August 20, 2027.
