BANDAI's Gashapon division is serving up a new capsule toy collection inspired by the beloved anime "Crayon Shin-chan." The "Crayon Shin-chan Bento Mascots" lineup will cost 400 yen per pull and is scheduled for release during the second week of October 2026.
The "Crayon Shin-chan Bento Mascots" transform Shin-chan and the Kasukabe Defense Force into tasty lunch-box favorites. The lineup features Shin-chan as an octopus-cut sausage, Nene as omurice, Kazama as furikake rice seasoning, and Bo-chan as fried shrimp. Masao, meanwhile, gets stuck playing the food plenty of kids would rather avoid: broccoli. His wonderfully grumpy expression suggests he is not too happy about his recent reputation online! Despite their tiny size, each mascot features carefully sculpted food details and printed character faces. Masao's sour expression looks especially hilarious next to the rest of the group.
