Designed by Japanese company PLEX and released by X-PLUS TOYS, the Daikaiju Series of pre-painted figures brings heroes and monsters from Japanese tokusatsu productions to life. The latest release from "Ultraman Tiga," "ULTRA NEW GENERATION Evil Tiga," is scheduled to arrive in December 2026.
Evil Tiga appeared in Episode 44 of "Ultraman Tiga." Despite his name, he was neither inherently evil nor actually Tiga—the name was simply used in the story to distinguish him. He had done nothing wrong and was merely sleeping in statue form alongside an Ultra-Ancient lion-dog monster. However, the ambitious scientist Keigo Masaki, who also carried Ultra-Ancient genes, forcibly merged with him. The clash between their good and evil hearts sent his power out of control, driving him to devastate the city and kill the Ultra-Ancient monster closest to him. He was ultimately destroyed by Ultraman Tiga, bringing his tragic existence to an end.
"Daikaiju Series ULTRA NEW GENERATION Evil Tiga" stands approximately 25 cm tall and recreates his city-destroying pose from the series. With both arms spread wide and his face turned toward the sky, Evil Tiga appears to revel in the thrill of destruction. The sculpt carefully captures suit actor Koji Nakamura's exceptionally muscular physique, along with the costume's leather-like texture and natural creases. His sharper ears, angular chin, and black eye markings set him apart from Tiga, while detailed paintwork reproduces the distinctive silver, black, and red patterns across his body.
An exclusive edition available through Shonen-Ric, Premium Bandai, Tsuburaya Store, and other select retailers adds built-in lighting features. Connect the included display base to a USB Type-C power source to illuminate Evil Tiga's eyes and Color Timer. A switch toggles the Color Timer between a steady blue light and a flashing red mode.
