Japanese toy company PLEX is bringing the cast of "Mobile Suit Gundam" into MAX LIMITED’s wonderfully weird Hinekureta Yatsura plush mascot series. Amuro, Sayla, Bright, Char, Lalah Sune, and Ramba Ral have all been transformed into crooked little creatures with slouching bodies and world-weary expressions, complete with their signature outfits and memorable lines from the anime. Each six-piece box is priced at 5,940 yen including tax and is scheduled for release in February 2027. Customers who purchase a full box through Premium BANDAI will also receive an exclusive Char Casual Outfit Ver. mascot.
Created by Japanese character goods company MAX LIMITED, the Hinekureta Yatsura series stars an oddball cast that always looks at the world sideways—literally, with their bodies twisted into bizarre angles. Pairing the concept with the wartime drama and personal conflicts of the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" makes the contrast even funnier. Amuro looks thoroughly unmotivated in his blue-and-white uniform, while helmeted Char appears to be deliberately leaning sideways in his red military attire. Seeing these familiar characters wearing such unimpressed expressions makes them look hilariously punchable.
The collection features six designs: Amuro Ray, Sayla Mass, Bright Noa, Char Aznable, Lalah Sune, and Ramba Ral. Each mascot recreates the character’s hairstyle, outfit, and defining headgear or facial features, with the character’s name printed across the front and one of their lines from the series printed on the back. Rather than simply squeezing everyone into the same plush template, the collection playfully riffs on each character’s established personality.
The Premium BANDAI box-purchase bonus is a Char Aznable Casual Outfit Ver., giving collectors an alternate look to display alongside Char’s standard red military uniform design.
