Shanghai-based figure maker APEX-TOYS has announced the latest collectible based on the open-world action RPG "Wuthering Waves." The Traces Series Shorekeeper chibi figure is scheduled for release in August 2027.
The enigmatic and otherworldly Shorekeeper serves as the central core of the Tethys System, a supercomputer operated by the Black Shores organization under the leadership of Rover, the game's protagonist. Her physical body is composed of high-purity Remnant Energy crystals. Although she was originally created as little more than a tool, countless years spent watching over the world gradually awakened emotions and desires within her. She chose the name Shorekeeper to signify "one who watches over Rover," hoping to become the shore where Rover can finally rest after a lifetime of wandering.
The Traces Series features adorable chibi figures with proportions of approximately 2.5 heads tall and an average height of around 11 cm. Broad cheeks and evenly proportioned limbs give each character a charming cartoon-inspired look, while intricate paintwork and translucent parts recreate the lavish costume designs that define "Wuthering Waves." Every figure also comes with a uniquely sculpted display base inspired by a memorable in-game scene, inviting players to relive the excitement of meeting each Resonator companion for the first time.
Standing approximately 12.3 cm tall, the Traces Series Shorekeeper uses rich gradients and metallic paint to reproduce her veil, jewelry, and other ornate details. Her butterfly-wing-like skirt, along with the butterflies above her head and resting in her hands, is rendered in gradient-colored translucent parts that perfectly capture her mysterious elegance. The display base draws inspiration from the Black Shores archipelago and locations featured in "To the Shore's End." Alongside the black flowers symbolizing the organization, the water beneath Shorekeeper's foot is crafted from delicately colored translucent material, recreating the Black Shores' distinctively luminous blue waters.
