Queen Studios’ 1/12 scale action figure brand INART Action has unveiled a new release based on the classic DC comic "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns." Pricing for the Batman Action Figure has yet to be announced, with preorders scheduled to open through the official website at 10:00 a.m. on October 3, 2026.
Published by DC as a four-issue miniseries in 1986, "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" was written and illustrated by legendary creator Frank Miller. Widely regarded as a landmark in American superhero comics, its dark, mature story follows a retired Bruce Wayne in his 50s as he once again dons the Batman costume to confront Gotham City’s new generation of criminals—and eventually Superman, now operating as an agent of the U.S. government.
This version of Batman faithfully captures Bruce Wayne’s massive build and rugged, visibly aged features. The sculpt emphasizes his powerful musculature beneath the tight-fitting costume, while details such as the yellow Batman emblem and utility belt have been carefully recreated. The floor-length blue cape is made from fabric and features concealed wiring, allowing collectors to shape it into dramatic, windswept poses. Accessories appear to include multiple interchangeable hands, an alternate open-mouth portrait, a sniper rifle, Batarangs, and a grappling hook with cord. Combined with the figure’s extensive full-body articulation, the set can recreate a wide range of memorable poses from the comic.
