TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan’s BANDAI SPIRITS, has announced that a new figure from its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure line is now in development: "Zenless Zone Zero" fan favorite "S.H.Figuarts Nangong Yu"! The news was revealed through the brand’s official X account, with full details coming at a later date.
The leader of the idol group "Angels of Delusion," Nangong Yu may seem like a mischievous girl who delights in teasing Sunna, but she is actually a multitalented genius who excels at nearly everything. In addition to being an exceptional dancer, the wealthy heiress has a remarkable head for business. She built a fortune of her own at a young age and can effortlessly arrange helicopters and other equipment to support the group’s activities. Her one major weakness is cooking—she once managed to blow up an entire kitchen. Nangong Yu is a Thiren born with a halo and feathered wings, although her current wings were attached later. A massive scar also stretches across her back, but the game has yet to reveal how she received it.
Following the strong reception for the first Zenless Zone Zero release, Billy Kid, S.H.Figuarts has continued expanding its lineup based on the game. This latest announcement revealed all three members of Angels of Delusion at once: Sunna, Aria, and Nangong Yu. Collectors will certainly be eager to see whether the finished figures can maintain the line’s momentum.
