After overcoming opposition and legal challenges from multiple state governments, Paramount Skydance’s acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery is finally expected to close within the next week or two. That has left many wondering whether Paramount Skydance will launch a major executive shake-up after taking control. While the companies have yet to comment on potential leadership changes, a new report has revealed some of the plans taking shape behind the scenes — and Paramount Skydance has reportedly already decided the fate of several top executives.

Puck News reported that Warner Bros. Pictures co-chiefs Michael De Luca, pictured above on the left, and Pamela Abdy, pictured below on the right, are expected to depart rather than join the Paramount Skydance organization. The pair took charge in 2022 and have led the studio for nearly four years. Their responsibilities will reportedly be handed to current Paramount Pictures leaders Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg, who would oversee both studios.

DC Studios, however, is not expected to undergo any leadership changes. Current co-chairmen James Gunn and Peter Safran will remain in their posts, with Paramount Skydance having no immediate plans to replace the duo.
