Japanese toy company BANDAI has revealed the Mobile Suit Gundam "YURUGUN wave3" collection, continuing the line's laid-back, adorable take on classic Gundam designs. This wave features Char's Zaku, Zaku, Gundam, Beargguy, Acguy, Zeta Gundam, Char's Z'Gok, Justice Gundam, Unicorn Gundam, and 00 Gundam, plus two secret figures. Each blind box is priced at 990 yen, including tax, and is scheduled for release on October 31, 2026.
The "YURUGUN" line reimagines Gundam mobile suits with a softer, cuter look. Their typically rigid armor proportions have been compressed into shorter, rounder bodies, while their faces and silhouettes feature gentler lines. Wave 3 offers 10 standard figures: Char's Zaku, Zaku, Gundam, Beargguy, Acguy, Zeta Gundam, Char's Z'Gok, Justice Gundam, Unicorn Gundam, and 00 Gundam. Spanning the original Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta Gundam through Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Mobile Suit Gundam 00, the lineup covers several generations of the franchise. The contrast is especially fun with sleek designs like Justice Gundam and 00 Gundam, which look completely different in this chubby style.
The figures come in a random blind-box format, so buyers will not know which design is inside before opening the package. In addition to the 10 revealed mobile suits, the assortment includes two secret figures. Each box contains one YURUGUN figure, one character card, and one card stand, allowing collectors to display the figure on its own or alongside the matching card.
