BANDAI SPIRITS unveiled three new prototypes from its BANDAI HOBBY character model kit line, 30 MINUTES PREFERENCE, during the trade day of the 64th All Japan Model & Hobby Show on October 2, 2026. The new reveals include "Rei Ayanami (School Uniform Ver.)," "Kikuri Hiroi," and "Angol Mois & Sgt. Frog." All three are currently in development and will be offered as Premium Bandai exclusives at a later date.
The "30 MINUTES PREFERENCE" series builds on the engineering and model kit expertise developed through 30 MINUTES LABEL. By bringing in characters from a wide range of licensed properties, the line lets fans build plastic model kits of their favorites.
The hard-drinking fan favorite "Kikuri Hiroi" from "Bocchi the Rock!" is recreated with multiple colors of molded plastic, capturing her signature side braid and eccentric combination of a track jacket, one-piece dress, and geta sandals. Preprinted face parts reproduce her perpetually tipsy expressions. Planned accessories include Kikuri's Yamaha TRB1004J bass, a shamisen plectrum, a THR30II Wireless amp, three differently packaged bottles of "Onikoroshi" sake, a microphone, and a mic stand.
Following the previously released plugsuit version, the popular Rebuild of Evangelion character "Rei Ayanami" returns in the newly sculpted uniform of Tokyo-3 First Municipal Junior High School. Precisely molded blue, white, and red parts recreate the outfit's color separation, collar ribbon, and intricate fabric folds. The preprinted face parts also feature all-new expressions distinct from the earlier release. So far, her schoolbag is the only accessory on display.
Following the format established by the previously announced "Powered Natsumi & Corporal Giroro," the popular "Sgt. Frog" character "Angol Mois" will be released alongside her beloved uncle. Colorful, intricately molded parts recreate the kogal disguise she modeled after Asami Tennoji. She also comes with the Lucifer Spear she draws whenever she unleashes Hellmageddon. The included Sgt. Frog figure is built to the same scale and features articulated joints in the neck and limbs.
