Japanese figure maker Kaiyodo has announced a new line of premium six-inch action figures called FUSE (Fidelity Ultimate Sculpt Edition). The line will debut with Absolute Batman from DC’s "Absolute Universe", and Kaiyodo will showcase a painted prototype of the Absolute Batman figure tomorrow, October 3, at Wonder Festival 2026 Shanghai.

In "Absolute Universe," Bruce Wayne’s Absolute Batman is a blue-collar civil engineer rather than the billionaire playboy of the main DC Universe. He fights crime with equipment of his own design, sporting a much larger, rougher build and a far more savage combat style than the classic Batman. His entire suit is loaded with weapons—even the signature ears on his cowl can become lethal blades.

The six-inch FUSE Absolute Batman action figure is a collaboration between Kaiyodo and Chinese brand Phantonn studio. Billed as a highly articulated, cloth-costumed figure, it comes with multiple masked face options and an interchangeable unmasked head. The body is fully covered by a fabric suit, while the four leather cape panels feature flexible wire inside, allowing collectors to pose them at different angles. The metallic armor and yellow utility belt are finished with weathering and battle-worn details. Displayed weapons include the shoulder spikes carried on his back and a removable chest emblem that transforms into a battle-ax. Based on this early reveal, the figure certainly lives up to the premium articulation and quality Kaiyodo has been promoting. Additional accessories, the full range of articulation, and—most importantly—the price will be revealed at a later date.
