After outbidding multiple rivals and clearing a series of antitrust hurdles, Paramount Skydance has officially secured Warner Bros. Discovery. The company has also released its first promotional video, narrated by "Sinners" Oscar winner Michael B. Jordan, which looks back at the two studios’ storied legacies while offering a glimpse of the future ahead.
The biggest news, however, came from CEO David Ellison, who announced that the combined company will operate under the Skydance name—the production company he founded. Ellison initially acquired Paramount through Skydance before pursuing Warner Bros. Discovery under the Paramount Skydance banner.
