Oscar-winning "Birdman" filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu’s big-budget collaboration with Tom Cruise, "The Digger," was hit with a wave of negative reviews after its review embargo lifted, earning just 52% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Still, the film has its defenders, including "Pacific Rim" director Guillermo del Toro, who shared his response on X:
