BANDAI SPIRITS’ collectibles division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has shared a teaser on its official Instagram account for two new My Hero Academia releases joining the S.H.Figuarts action figure line!
Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo grew up together. Naturally gifted from an early age, Bakugo’s overwhelming pride and deeply buried insecurities drove him to ostracize and bully the Quirkless Midoriya, mockingly calling him “Deku.” Despite being afraid of Bakugo, Midoriya continued to admire his strength and relentless drive to win. With both boys looking up to All Might above all else, their complicated bond pushed them forward on the path to becoming the world’s greatest heroes.
Judging by the silhouettes revealed so far, the upcoming figures will depict Midoriya and Bakugo as children. They appear to recreate the scene in which the two boys pulled All Might cards together, and they should look fantastic alongside the All Might figure due out later in October. Some fans were understandably puzzled to see childhood versions of Midoriya and Bakugo announced while so many popular characters have yet to join the line. Still, younger versions of the pair have proven extremely popular in past merchandise, including the Prize D figure from “Ichiban Kuji My Hero Academia: A Chain of Events, Across the Ages,” so the decision makes sense. That said, we are still hoping to see more heroes added to the lineup soon! Full details were scheduled to be revealed on October 5, 2026, and we cannot wait to see more.
