BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS is expanding its "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" line, which builds each hero from the skeleton up to capture screen-accurate suit proportions and natural articulation. The third release from the hit tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider Ryuki" will be "Kamen Rider Scissors". Priced at 11,000 yen including tax, the figure is scheduled for release in April 2027!
Kamen Rider Scissors is the Rider form of corrupt police detective Masashi Sudo, making him the franchise's first enemy Rider to be portrayed as an outright criminal. His Contract Monster is Volcancer. Sudo abused his authority to work with organized criminals before murdering his accomplices to silence them. After obtaining a Card Deck, he used his Rider powers to destroy evidence of his crimes. He is also one of the few Kamen Riders explicitly shown ordering his Contract Monster to devour humans. After Kamen Rider Knight destroyed his Card Deck, the now-uncontrolled Volcancer turned on Sudo and ate him, making Scissors the first Rider to die in the series.
Standing approximately 5.7 inches tall, "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider Scissors" uses the line's signature suit-actor-based proportions to faithfully recreate his on-screen appearance. Metallic silver paint across the arms and legs gives the armor a convincing sense of weight and texture. The figure comes with three interchangeable left hands and four right hands, including fists, open hands, and a card-holding hand. Accessories include four PET "Advent Cards", the left-arm-mounted "Scissors Visor", the "Scissors Pinch" weapon, and the "Shell Defense" shield. The Scissors Visor opens to accept an Advent Card. Pair the figure with the separately sold "Kamen Rider Ryuki" Volcancer & Kamen Rider Scissors Parts Set to recreate the sinister presence and finishing attack of Kamen Rider history's first villain Rider!
