BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS has announced “S.H.Figuarts TENSHINHAN ‘Z-FIGHTERS’” and “S.H.Figuarts CHIAOTZU ‘Z-FIGHTERS’” from "Dragon Ball Z." The longtime partners, who have fought side by side since their Crane School days, are joining the recently revamped Z Fighters lineup together. Both figures will make their first in-person appearance at New York Comic Con 2026, running October 8–11, 2026. Their dimensions, suggested retail prices, accessories, and release dates have yet to be announced.
This is far from the first time Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu have received the S.H.Figuarts treatment. Toy News previously covered the shirtless Tien Shinhan figure in 2017, which included Chiaotzu in his self-destruct pose. A “Tien Shinhan & Chiaotzu” two-pack followed in 2021, pairing a fully articulated Chiaotzu with Tien in his martial arts uniform. Tien could recreate signature techniques such as the Solar Flare and Tri-Beam, while Chiaotzu was finally more than a self-destruct accessory clinging to Nappa’s back, gaining enough articulation to pose with attacks like the Dodon Ray.
The first official images show both characters in battle-ready poses, but TAMASHII NATIONS has not revealed whether Tien will feature redesigned technique hands, expressions, or joint engineering. The company also has not confirmed what effect parts or technique-related accessories Chiaotzu may include. For collectors who already own the 2021 release, the big question is how extensively these Z Fighters editions will be upgraded—or whether the duo will receive completely refreshed sculpts and articulation.
