BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS has announced the upcoming S.H.Figuarts God of Destruction Beerus -Awakened God of Destruction- from "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus." Timed to coincide with the new anime's October 11 premiere, Universe 7's long-slumbering God of Destruction is finally returning to the S.H.Figuarts lineup. The newly revealed Tenshinhan and Chaozu -Z Fighters- figures have also been confirmed for release. All three will make their first in-person appearance at New York Comic Con 2026, running October 8–11. Dimensions, accessories, pricing, and release dates have yet to be announced.

The figure's "Awakened God of Destruction" subtitle directly ties into the character's return in the enhanced "Dragon Ball Super: Beerus" anime. Based on the Beerus storyline from the 2015 "Dragon Ball Super" series, the new edition adds a substantial amount of new footage and redraws existing scenes while revising the visuals, sound, and story structure. The result offers a fresh take on Goku's first head-to-head battle with Beerus.

Beerus previously joined S.H.Figuarts roughly a decade ago with the God of Destruction Beerus figure released in 2016. Standing approximately 17 cm tall, the original release included interchangeable expressions and multiple hand options. Now returning under the new "Awakened God of Destruction" name, the updated figure's proportions, articulation system, and accessories remain under wraps. Collectors will have to wait for its New York Comic Con 2026 display to see how extensively it differs from the original.
