Danish toy brand LEGO is continuing its 2027 LEGO × Batman lineup with the DC Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck set. Packing the 1992 movie’s Batmobile and Penguin’s yellow Duck vehicle into one box, the 672-piece set also includes Batman and Penguin minifigures. Priced at $59.99, it is scheduled for release on January 1, 2027.
The Batmobile is based on the version seen in Michael Keaton’s Batman Returns, retaining the movie vehicle’s long, sleek black silhouette. It can also transform into the film’s memorable Batmissile mode, a feature previously highlighted in the 76355 large-scale Batmobile. Although this build has been downsized to a more play-friendly format, it still preserves that unforgettable emergency escape configuration. The cockpit can seat the Batman minifigure, making it easy to recreate the movie’s chase scenes.
On the other side is Penguin’s yellow Duck vehicle. Its giant duck head, wings, and bright yellow body create a striking contrast alongside the Batmobile. Both the head and wings can be repositioned, while the wing doors open to seat the Penguin minifigure inside. Collectors have seen plenty of LEGO Batmobiles over the years, but including Penguin’s amusement park-style Duck gives this set the perfect mix of gothic darkness and absurdity that made Batman Returns so distinctive.
