BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS collectibles division has teased its next My Hero Academia release for the S.H.Figuarts action figure line on its official Instagram account. Between the roaring flames in the background and the caption “Just watch me,” there is little doubt that the next character joining the lineup is the man who inherited the title of No. 1 Pro Hero: Endeavor!
Endeavor’s real name is Enji Todoroki, and his Quirk is Hellflame. After spending years ranked as the No. 2 Pro Hero, his obsession with surpassing All Might led him to treat his family as a means of producing a child with a stronger Quirk. His actions tore the family apart and ultimately gave rise to Dabi. It was only after assuming the mantle of No. 1 that Endeavor began to understand the weight of that responsibility. He emerged as a leader willing to fight to the death on the battlefield while privately confronting his mistakes and seeking to make amends with his family. “Just watch me” is also the declaration he made to the public during the press conference in Episode 87, “Japanese Hero Billboard Chart”!
Since most recent My Hero Academia releases have featured character designs from the anime’s final two seasons, this figure may depict Endeavor with the facial scar he received after battling the Nomu. Full product details will be revealed on October 9, and we cannot wait to see more!
