MegaHouse’s GGG (Gundam Girls Generation) figure line brings the women of the Gundam Series to life as highly detailed collectibles. Its latest release from "Mobile Suit Gundam," "Matilda Ajan feat. Tsukasa Kotobuki," is scheduled to launch in June 2027.
Matilda Ajan is a lieutenant and supply unit commander in the Earth Federation Forces. After Amuro Ray defeats Ramba Ral, the Principality of Zeon ace known as the "Blue Giant," Matilda is dispatched under direct orders from General Revil to oversee the resupply and repair of White Base. Her beauty and gentle personality quickly capture Amuro’s heart, becoming his first love. However, Matilda is already engaged to Captain Woody Malden, and the two plan to marry after Operation Odessa. Their future is cut short when White Base comes under attack by the Principality of Zeon’s Black Tri-Stars. To protect Amuro during the battle, Matilda rams her Medea transport into a Dom, creating an opening for him at the cost of her own life when the enemy mobile suit smashes the aircraft’s cockpit.
"GGG Matilda Ajan feat. Tsukasa Kotobuki" was developed under the close supervision of Japanese illustrator Tsukasa Kotobuki, faithfully translating his original artwork of Matilda in her sharp military uniform into three dimensions. The sculpt captures her tall, slender build along with fine details such as the insignia on her cap, the natural folds throughout her uniform, and the leather texture of her boots. Carefully applied paintwork recreates the illustration’s shifting light and shadows, as well as the metallic finish of the uniform’s accents.
Her face is equally impressive, featuring confident eyes and glossy lips that bring the striking original portrait to life. Two interchangeable head and hand configurations are included, allowing collectors to display Matilda saluting with her right hand while holding a folder in her left, or without her military cap as she runs a hand through her hair.
